For those of you who dont know who he is, Logan Paul is a white man who is 22 years old.
Logan has disrespected people based on their race, on the language the speak, and even based on their gender.
Recently, Logan went to Japan and traveled into the forest located at the base of Mt. fuji known as the suicide forest. Over 100 people kill themselves here every year.
Remains of old rope, shoes, back packs, and flowers are scattered around the forest. Signs pleading people not to take their lives line the path that goes deeper and deeper into the forest.
People who were suffering were at such a negative place that they walked into that forest and left everything they knew behind. Logan Paul decided to film a "fun vlog" in this forest.
He laughed and walked through the forest with his friends and a guide and eventually, stumbled across a man who had recently taken his own life.
Logan first asked the guide to call the police and instead of turning off the cameras and waiting,
Logan continued to film and even went close enough to the body to see that the man still had something in his back pocket. Logan Paul disgusts me.
He stood next to this man and stated "What you've never stood next to a dead guy before," and then proceeded to laugh at the situation.
I know how it feels to be in the space where that man was the day he ended his life. I don't even have the words to describe how disgusted and dishonored I am that Logan Paul did this.
I know this will blow over and it will be as if nothing happened. However, while this is relevant, I want to let anyone know that if you are feeling this way, know that things will get better.
You are not going to become just another body that some privileged prick films for views. You are important, you are valid, you are loved.
I don't care who you are, what you are, what your gender is, who you love, what you're skin color is, what you're religion is. I love you for you.
Im so proud of everyone who has made it this far. We are all suffering from something. We all go through shit in our lives but let me tell you, its worth it to just keep going.
It is so worth it. Logan Paul may be a bad person, but there are people like you and me who instead of following him in his footsteps, can stand up and open our hearts and our minds.
Never forget your worth. Never forget you are you and no one in the world can replace you. No one. Im so proud of you, you can always reach out to me if you need me.
Thank you for existing and being in my life.
