Oh to fly,
On the wings of a dove, a hawk, a plane,
To a remote forest clearing or to the highest mountain top,
Oh to be free,
From the shackles of life and love,
Escaping the clouds that plague the mind.
The ever blue sky is calling out,
But our mind can take us anywhere,
To the waves lapping at our feet or to the sunset across the bay.
We must take down our own barriers,
Surmount our own obstacles,
To set our souls free,
So that we can all fly.
