It scares me to open my eyes.
It hurts to move.
It's painful to speak and to listen.
Physically, we all die.
We all do.
But some of us die emotionally
and wander around as zombies in our physical bodies.
And that death,
that emotional death. . .
it keeps us living,
to see the day when Heaven and Earth kiss,
and the promise we put our hope in is fulfilled,
and we learn to live a new life.
