I walk into a home full of friends.
The star on the girl's basketball team is laying limp on the sofa.
The teacher's favorite is glossed over asking where he's at.
The girl who volunteers to tutor after school is puking in the sink.
The boy who always wears the nicest sweaters has booze running down his top.
The girl who is always cracking a joke in History is crying in the corner.
The boy who helped pick up the things I dropped in the hallway is groping the passed out basketball player.
The girl that complimented my hair is screaming "whore" at the girl puking in the sink.
The boys who are teammates on the wrestling team are giving each other bloody noses over the last drag.
And the girl who gave a speech about encouraging one another hands me a beer.
But I turn around
And leave a house full of strangers.
