A poem about surviving the dark to see the light

Sunrise

On a golden hazed horizon The black earth will brighten The glowing warmth has risen And my saddened heart is glisten

Yellow rays of light disperse And glows around this universe It's a sight of glee The feeling makes me feel free

It rids the hazy air of coercion And all curses with its assertion This golden sunrise Shows this world a paradise

Its ghostly warmth Traverses back and forth Within our heart Helps our glee restart

No darkness shrouds The love veiled in clouds No sadness hides Our own pride
