a death called yearning.

by radandsad

there's a look

that I see in people, written on their faces; love and joy, ensconced in a thin but toxic sheet of pain

it is the bittersweet torment

of craving someone they cannot have.

This self-inflicted toruture

of agonizing lust and longing, i see this so often... and it breaks my heart.

but my greatest fear thus far

is if someone sees that look in me.

This was an incredibly descriptive poem. The wording was stirring a cauldron of emotions. You write with cynical inspiration. I love it. Great poem!!!!
