She tends to linger.
Her figure flickers in and out from the corners of yours vision.
Your eyes try to catch her, but she thinks she's safer where you can't see her.
Her heart shivers when she's in your line of sight.
You know you won't hurt her, but her flanks are open.
It so much safer for her to not exist, to untether herself from the solid earth.
And she's gone once more in the blink of an eye.
Nothing but a wisp of smoke tells you she even existed in the first place.
