When I walk on glass, I don’t fear the fall,
I no longer fear the pain, the outcome of it all,
I cannot fear things I don’t know will exist,
And I don’t want to look down,
in fear of what steps I’ve missed.
I just keep going,
in hopes I get to see another moment,
And that this glass won’t break,
If anything happens, I’ll own it,
It’s my path to take, bare each shard and each scrape,
I walk on glass to escape,
because any mistake will simply erase,
in each shard.
