"Allie, if you like me just tell me and stop wishing death for me already" Malik spoke with a smirk on his lips. "You know what, you should leave this place already. Get out! " She said looking at the ticking clock.
But she wanted him there with her, she always wanted them to have a normal conversation but it always went the other way. "You can't throw a customer out" "Watch me try" Allie shut the shop door but still stood by the glass door watching him make his way down the road. Crash!
Allie felt her body freeze at the scene. Malik flew in the air landing with a throb, his body still and crimson red painting the asphalt road. She couldn't move. She tried to but everything was still. Just 15 seconds ago he was sitting on that couch, smiling, running his hands through his hair.
"At least let me hold your hands" she remembered what he said before leaving. "don't you dare" She had replied... "Here, look at this whenever you miss me" he said as he brought out a Polaroid of himself from his wallet.
"You wish, narcissist... Now get out" She said dropping the picture he just gave to her on the table. And those were the last words she said to him. "See ya tomorrow " The last words he said.
"Malik!" She screamed as she pushed the doors open and ran outside. The man that knocked him came out of his car and tried moving him with a phone in his other hand calling for an ambulance...
She pushed through the little crowd to get to him. Blood stained his beautiful hair and all there was left was... "This wasn't what I meant when I said you should leave. Not this" One second can change everything.
"Hang in there, Malik you just have to hang in there" A tear fell from her cheeks. "No! No don't stop breathing! Please, say something... " Now the tears had no end and... One second is all there is to everything.
