Memories of My Grandmother

My paternal grandmother was Jharna Devi

She was a good singer!

She could cook well.

She was a religious person!

She used to worship her Krishna and other deities daily!

I heard her singing and playing tanpura!

She had recording in long playing record with reputed Bengali Singer Hemanta Mukherjee,

She had told me a lot of bedtime stories.

She had died of cancer.

My maternal grandmother was Polin Roy!

She had long hair and fair complexion!

She was quite kindhearted,

She used to tell me fairy tales,

She loved reading books,

She was good at cooking.

She had taken a lot of care about me in my childhood.

She died in June 2, 2020 due to nonhealing ulcer which I shared before.

She used to live in fariapukur in Kolkata

She had spent some time in an old age home.

She took a lot of care of my family.

She spent the last moments of my life in our house in kolkata.

It is really great to share the nostalgic moments of my grandmothers
