Importance of Stomach

Stomach is that muscular organ found on left side of upper abdomen.

It is a vital organ which sustains our body!

It receives food from our esophagus.

When this food reaches end of esophagus

it comes into our stomach

It uses the muscular valve

This valve is known as lower esophageal sphincter.

It secretes acid

It also secretes enzymes

This enzyme helps in digestion of food.
