Breaking up hurts, a lot.

I knew before you spoke ...

I knew before you spoke, what you were going to say. In a second I knew my world would slip away. When you actually said it, I went numb. Then followed pain like never before.

Like a bee had stung my heart, but worse. I couldn't speak or say a word. I couldn't think. My brain froze, my thoughts froze. For the first time in my life, my head was empty.

There was only pain and silence. Going hand in hand like two best friends.

I knew before you spoke ,what you were going to say. Like I was psychic, like I could read your mind.

I knew before you spoke that I wanted to go back. A couple seconds, a couple days, a couple weeks, a couple months, so I could have time with you again.

I knew before you spoke that nothing would ever be the same again.
