I knew before you spoke, what you were going to say. In a second I knew my world would slip away. When you actually said it, I went numb. Then followed pain like never before.

Like a bee had stung my heart, but worse. I couldn't speak or say a word. I couldn't think. My brain froze, my thoughts froze. For the first time in my life, my head was empty.

There was only pain and silence. Going hand in hand like two best friends.
