You blink and touch your fingers to the tears.

You wonder when you started crying.

You wonder why.

Drowning

You find yourself on the edge of a pool. The blue water is almost perfectly still save for the tiniest ripples that shake and spread. You realize your tears are the culprits.

You blink and touch your fingers to the tears. You wonder when you started crying. You wonder why.

You try to wipe the tears away, but they just keep flowing. An endless stream filling the pool. It is in danger of overflowing

A blurred figure walks towards you. It stays just out of reach. Just enough that you can't see its face. "Make them stop." You whisper, startled by how young your voice is. How innocent You look at your hands again; a child's hands.

The blurred figure reaches out to dry your tears. It scoops you into its arms and holds you tight against its chest. The figure reassures you you're okay. You believe it.

Why wouldn't you? The voice is so kind. Here in the figures arms You feel safe. Warm.

And then you're falling. You try to scream for help. You try to reach out to the figure Beg for it to save you from your pool of tears it just stands and watches you

You begin to sink into the chilling waters. You cant breath You're drowing in your own tears.
