went on a walk and wrote this. hope you enjoy!

Walk

By the damp grass river side, Where the reeds do sway and the sand does lie, Through a hanging canopy, the sun beams ride, Past the leaves and into my eye,

It bounces merrily over the glistening green pool, A fallen tree, a strong bridge, sturdy and new, Off to the wood, where the little animal folk rule, And bark stretches over whispering oak, ever true,

The lush grass wettens my boots, An ancient kingdom of wise owl's towers, As I creep through their streets of roots, And stand in awe of their folly flowers.
