Our friendship has declined several steps. It’s more about reminiscing past memories than future ones. I like to think it’s common for all friends to see each other when passing by, and not speak. That thought gives me comfort, until I rationalize with myself again and again that silence isn’t my friend.

Open to criticism and commentary. This poem is about the way past mistakes turn into loose knit friendships.

Possibly our time apart is what broke our bonding. Yet, it can’t be because we still see each other everyday. Am I only a empty page for your dead weight emotions to go? Sometimes I wonder how other things became more important than our conversations.

Constantly planning events for them always to be cancelled or put on hold. All friendships don’t last forever, but I can’t keep going half heartedly.

Though, I know it takes two to tango this dance of oblivion was your own choreography.
