my body was shrouded in the white dress.
the creamy sheets of silk slipped over my shoulders, grazing my skin with soft kisses,
i looked into the face of my soon to be husband.
"my love, i don't want to say until death do us part, if i had a thousand lifetimes i'd want them all to be with you."
i reached towards his face, to brush away the tears.
if only he could hear me,
if only this was my wedding day instead of my funeral.
