A Time in Past Glory

by origami

My eyes saw the top of the world

But my mind fell off the curve, and tumbled into the cacophony of foreshadowed revolution.

Where ideas spoke all too loudly,

And my mind, though lost, kept to itself and slipped deeper into this perilous journey

Still my mind’s curious ponders ventured only into

the scourge of the unknown. And ponders turned to wonders and wonders to revolution.

The eternal fall

bustled with murmurs of hidden secrets not kept. and my mind thankfully stayed quiet.

It’s revolution a daring secret kept.

And if temptingly spoken, it was bound to be stolen.

The silence my mind kept became

the bravest leap in a land filled with loud.
