The Peacock Tango—A children’s poetry

The Peacock Tango

Do you know the difference between a swan's melodic waltz from that of the peacock's dancing cult? Loud and flamboyant is this showy cabaret Where feathers are flaunted like some haute coutre lingerie

It's some amusing, watching this playful interlude. Yellows, greens and blues in whirling multitudes. The victor takes the peaches and the fun. The losers bag none.

These cacophonous avian creatures with their conceited air are vain and obsessed with their extravagant fares. What a mischievous parallel in this nature's tale that each and all a Pygmalion male.
