another really short story by Nicola Uy
I beg for everything I wish for.
They get what they desire at the ring of a bell.
I cry myself to sleep every night.
They collapse on their beds with wide smiles on their pretty faces.
'Alone Time' is 'Fun Time'.
They despise being alone. I love it, for during those moments, I would not have to endure the wrath and pain seeing you.
I keep silent during sharing time in school.
They bring memorable stories of their perfect little families.
I want to be happy.
Unconsciously, you forbid me from becoming so.
Who do you think you are?
This is my life, my time, my decisions. Why influence me? Why hate me for the way I am? Why change me?
