The feeling of liberation is upon me. I feel the weight that my shoulders bare lifting. This is poetry about, perhaps, the heaviest burden of all. Living.

We've escaped

For at last

For at last My longstanding prison

For at last My longstanding prison Has broken off

For at last My longstanding prison Has broken off I am gone

Was I ever really there?

Was I ever really there? Perhaps now I am

Was I ever really there? Perhaps now I am I exist, and claim my space

Was I ever really there? Perhaps now I am I exist, and claim my space On this earth

Was it right?

Was it right? We shall see, in the end

Was it right? We shall see, in the end Perhaps a chance of living is given to me

The train comes by

The train comes by Wheels thundering on the ground

The train comes by Wheels thundering on the ground A million chances passed

The train comes by Wheels thundering on the ground A million chances passed Perhaps for now,

The train comes by Wheels thundering on the ground A million chances passed Perhaps for now, I'm going to let it pass
