The sun was shining and the birds were singing, except one. He had lost his voice. He just woke up in the morning and couldn't sing. He felf left out when the birds were all singing and he wasn't. Although it wasn't the first time. He learned how to sing in a late age.

He also learned how to fly in a late age. He was always not very confident of himself. The other birds made fun of him for it. They flew near his nest just to taunt him singing harmonously as he was being mouthfed by his mother. He hated and one day he told his mother he was done being a loser.

He jumped out of the nest and spread his wings. But all he managed to do was to land slowly on the ground. Where he met a cute little bird laying on the ground. She looked at him with a sad face and pointed to her broken wing. Some kid threw a rock at her. And no one in her flock came to search for her.

The male bird felt something he never felt before. He was angry at her flock. But angrier at himself for not being able to fly. If he could fly them to his nest his mother could tend to her wounds. He gathered up his courage and carried her back to his nest. His mother fixed her wing and the two lovebirds flew away to build their own nest.

This bird was the happiest he could be. He could sing and fly and do anything as long as they're together.
