You weren’t supposed to hurt me. You were supposed to be different

Katabolic

Tainted with your toxic touch,

Your poison plummets into my essence, permeating my being;

Transforming what was once my innocence,

And degrades it into demented demons,

Who clutch the center of my chest, Threatening to tear me inside out.

I gasp for breath, But they lacerate my lungs as they bustle through my body,

Numbing every nerve,

Until they escape to my eyes, Forcing me to follow their path of destruction,

Purging me of bliss;

And if I'd known this would happen, I never would have given you that katabolic first kiss.
