Annabel was not too familiar with snow. She was vacationing from California at a ski resort in Idaho. Everything so far about this adventure was exciting.
The ski lifts appeared to be enchanting and adventurous. The hot cocoa warming her throat was delightful. The cashmere sweaters were cozy. Not to mention the Christmas decorations. Those were absolutely heartwarming.
Her favorite so far had been Santa’s sleigh outside the lodge. It adorned beautiful garland strands, a mesmerizing red exterior and an enormous velvet bag of toys.
She smiled to herself enjoying the snow and her most recent new experiences. She had never had a Christmas like this before. It was all so astonishing.
“Come along Bel,” her father rushed nudging her shoulder with his hand, “Don’t want to be driving in this when it gets worse.”
