Alek Stone, a 17-year-old high school student jumped out of bed once he heard his alarm go off.
6:50, he had twenty minutes to make his thirty-minute walk to school before he would late, and if he was late one more time he would be expelled.
He quickly changed clothes, snatched his hat off his dresser, and ran down the stairs, taking them two at a time.
He picked his skateboard up off the floor and ran outside, slamming the door shut behind him.
Dropping his skateboard on the sidewalk Alek pulled his hat down on his head and took off down the sidewalk, checking his watch for the time.
He ramped off the sidewalk and grabbed the fender of a passing car, using it to get him up the hill.
Pushing himself off the car he grabbed the bottom of his board and jumped, grinding down a nearby staircase.
When he got to the bottom he found his path blocked by a construction crew working on the road ahead. He cursed under his breath and jumped off his board, flipping it up into his hand.
His only way to get to school in time was blocked by machines and holes in the ground. He either has to find a bus or just be late. Unless...
Alek slowly looked around at the construction crew and the vehicles they were using. "Let's hope it works," He muttered under his breath as he hid his skateboard under a nearby bush.
He stepped back and focused his eyes on a wrecking ball a few feet away from him.
He took a deep breath and ran at it, jumping as high and far as he could, wrapping his hands around the chain.
He pulled himself to a standing position on the wrecking ball and starting to swing it from side to side, building up momentum. He swung off the wrecking ball and landed on the back of a crane.
Running up the crane railing he pulled his hat down further onto his head and stood at the top, looking down at the ground.
He lowered himself down and slide down the crane's rope until he reached the bottom and jumped off onto the other side of the construction zone.
Running the rest of the way to school Alek smiled at what he had just done, not having expected it to work.
(Not sure if I'm going to continue but if you think I should please let me know.)
