See that girl there?
See that girl there? She used to smile every day.
See that girl there? She used to smile every day. But that one day, in the cold of the winter changed her.
It's a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know.
From then on, the girl had been broken.
From then on, the girl had been broken. She hides under a curtain, a mask.
She smiles, for the sake of her family, her friends. But really? She's broken inside.
She thought she could never find true happiness again.
She thought she could never find true happiness again. She thought she could not smile again.
But little did she know... Someone was watching her.
Knowing, her true woe.
Hey guys... Nandroid here.
This daily challenge was extremely sad compared to my last one. And, honestly speaking this poem is based on my life during COVID (except the watching part).
I lost my grandad because of coronavirus and I try to smile and control my sadness and anger every day.
But..... I'm better now!
