The fragrance, a potion and a poison...

A Fragrance

By: Kit

A potion swirling through, a heavenly scent

A poison, mixing in, a scent of sanity with a touch of madness

Intoxicating, leaving me breathless, unable to understand

Why can't I breathe? Why can't I leave? Leave the aroma fogging the air

Colors of red, of blue, of purple,

But purple was never meant to be, so blue and red remains to be seen, never mixing just lingering, hesitant and reluctant

To get rid of the stifling air comforting once, now pained...

...the scent of the emotions held unsaid...

...to not succumb to the fragrance once more...

...to the fragrance of you.
