Inspired by the music from "Arcade" by Duncan Lawrence.
And "Lie" by NF. With the last line as the only exception.
Wrote poems while listening to music so i guess they count as song covers with new lyrics xD
Im just an imprisoned poet, indefinitely imprinting myself on paper,
Words with unidentified importance, invisible, ink like vapor
A Poets Death.
Alive in old age, hospital bed sweats, soaking, drenched,
Both hands around your throat, clenched,
Why fight back as Time harms your last breath?
Lying in the comforting arms of your Death,
Dying of old age.
Just now discovered this screaming inside me,
Meaning im highly insane or seemingly slightly, disturbed
Or politely deeming i might be...absurd,
Just wordplay and expression.
