He appeared simple and carefree, peering at the world like they were bunch of jellies and anime characters but I knew better, he was complex...
a mystery I would kill to figure out, a puzzle I'd give my last to finish.

DEAR MUYIWA,

Dark hair with sprinkles of gray adorned his head, running down a path at the sides of his face until they marked a seemingly existing beard.

Dark hair with sprinkles of gray adorned his head, running down a path at the sides of his face until they marked a seemingly existing beard. He was beautiful

His eyes were a shade darker than brown, piercing but gentle like that of your favorite cartoon character and my favorite was Hiccup, the most attractive character in the animation 'How to train your dragon'.

Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves, his expression didn't tingle my fantasies like Hiccup did neither did his playful smile or awkward stare but they were welcoming nevertheless, gentle, playful, calm and everything you wanted in your fluffy nighttime teddy bear.

'Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa'

'Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa Oh dear Muyiwa' ....the songs my heart sang

"Let's write about a fish who wants to live on land," his voice cut through my thoughts, the sound as of yet another cartoon character except I hadn't figured out which one yet. It was measured cadence, unhurried and aloof but never without humor dancing around its edges.

I couldn't describe it but I loved the sound of it, it was unique and anyone within mile radius could tell who it belonged to.

"We are not writing about a fish," I rolled my eyes, daring to fight the smile that pulled at my glossy lips.

"Why can't we write about fishes. They are a significant part of our society," I fought the urge to roll my eyes again, reminding myself that he wasn't like any other and that his mind was a vortex of weird, different and seemingly alien.

I often wondered what he though about and when he spoke, I couldn't help but wish I could take trip down the complexities that was his mind.
