A poem I wrote to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.

Elegy to A Love, Lost by: David Monrouzeau Díaz

Sweet Night The Sky was alight And the Earth was cold With dew of olde And I'm reminded of Your last full Moon

In high-hung Clouds Was the maddening Shroud The wind to you does bow And with the Trees I sough In remembrance of Your last Full Moon

Will the Days turn to Years, When I your Voice cannot hear? Will it depart, ever, this Doom? Will the Stars ensue their bloom, In remembrance of Our last Full Moon?

When the quake of my Heart Struck its frames like a Fallen Star Sinking, fading, You Your last Full Moon

Travel well, my Love Keep us safe from Above Bless I your path hereof Under our Full Moon
