Thrown Out of Heaven Part 3

Chapter 3

The next morning, an hour after dawn, I wake up and get ready. I only have one pair of clothes, but I washed it last night, so it should be fine for now. I plan to go out to find a job that can pay decently, so I can at least afford some new clothes. I go to the nearest restaurant, and ask to see the manager. She comes out and asks, โ€œWhat can I do for you?โ€ I reply, โ€œCan I get a job here?โ€ I

look at her name tag, which says โ€˜Seraphinaโ€™. She thinks for a second and asks me, โ€œAny previous experience of cooking?โ€ I respond, โ€œYes, I used to cook for my friends back up in hea-โ€ I catch myself just in time, โ€œHeavenly Acres.โ€ Luckily she didnโ€™t dwell on it. Seraphina continues, โ€œAny experience in cooking burgers?โ€ I shake my head.

Seraphina says, โ€œSorry, but you look kind of young to be working here. And with no experience in cooking burgers too. Better look somewhere else for a job.โ€ I hang my head down and nod. โ€œThanks anyway,โ€ I say and head toward the exit. When the sunlight hits my face, I wince and cover it. โ€œToo bright,โ€ I mumble. Ironically, since I used to live in heaven. I head to a

couple more jobs that have an open space, but no luck. They all think Iโ€™m too young. I sit down on a bench near the pool at Drew and Roryโ€™s house and a flyer slapped me in the face. It was all like I grab it and yank it off my face and something catches my eye.

I get up immediately and remember, โ€™ I shrug and ask for directions. 10-17 dollars per hour is pretty good in my opinion. If itโ€™s not, I mean, I can get some stuff right? Like clothes, food, maybe rent. I search online

first, find this place called Preserve at Greenway Park. I take a bus to go visit it, and itโ€™s not bad! I can live here for a month or so. The rent is alright, $775 per month. I quickly calculate in my head, I concluded. Enough for me to make a living. I took the bus back to Drew and Roryโ€™s

house and walk to the registering place. I sign up and the next day, Iโ€™ll start working!

Hey guys! Guess what? I found this website that can make text italic! That way, itโ€™s easier for me to manage. Italics are either thoughts or something else. ~~ แ—ฐแŽฅ๐•คโ„ด
