Time. The ultimate destroyer.

Time

The wind blows,

rustling leaves,

on the tree.

The river,

winds and turns,

to the sea.

Dark begins,

then it ends,

with the day.

Morning comes,

children wake,

and they play.

Summer now,

but always,

seasons change.

I find life,

is really,

rather strange.

Night returns,

and too soon,

dark descends.

Dreadful time,

it destroys,

till it ends.

Life goes on.

I wonder.

For how long?

Beautiful,

and yet still,

a sad song.

Death is real.

Even so,

we don't live,

unless we,

learn to love.

Learn to give.

We've a gift,

but it's just,

for a bit.

Smell roses.

Stop sometimes,

and just sit.

Cause it will,

soon leave us.

Age will come.

When it does.

It's for all.

Not just some.
