I hate it when people see my scars. I can feel their judgement.

TRIGGER WARNING

My Truest Friends

I hate it when people see my scars.

I can feel their judgement.

Yet I bare them anyway.

For all the world to see.

I have no energy to hide from what I've done.

Instead I lay it out for everyone.

Those who judge are not my friends.

Those who love are.

I'll take one good friend,

over a million judges,

any day of the week.

Because not being alone,

is what I seek.

So let the judges judge.

I didn't want their friendship.

Give me the meek, the selfless.

Give me the downtrodden,

the poor.

Those who have been judged.

For they know the feeling,

and are rarely hypocrites.

They are my friends.

My truest friends.
