There is a kaleidoscope of lights,
on the line between life and death,
and it promises the hope,
of a hereafter.
The soul tastes a freedom there,
unlike any other,
where it has let go of all of this life,
and it is ready to move on.
That is why I do not fear my death.
For I can see the lights.
I fear only separation from my loved ones.
I fear only their pain.
Otherwise I welcome the lights,
with open arms.
