The standard came down, with it came the crown, a fall from grace, we're losing the race.

Call for Love

The standard came down,

with it came the crown,

a fall from grace,

we’re losing the race.

A leader does good deeds,

and cares for our needs.

Orphans we’ve become.

Love, we all need some.

Together we can band,

draw a line in the sand,

will you push and shove,

or do you care for love?

The world around is dark.

The divide between us stark.

A dangerous time to live.

Do you take or do you give?

I don’t mind what you view,

but I do care what you do.

You’re my sisters and brothers.

Have compassion for others.

Without it we are all lost,

and its absence carries cost.

Society will have to pay,

for choices we make today.

Use your eyes, look ahead.

No more hiding in the bed.

Now is when I make my call,

for all to love and love for all.
