Many people play a role in our life similar to that of a dandelion. A dandelion symbolises hope, optimism and a better future, yet, the plant is only a weed.

The irony of a dandelion person is that they make you feel comfortable and assured, blinding you to see that they are mere dandelions and not what they portray to be.

Once they finally make a place in your heart, that is the final blow. Quite literally, as you unknowingly blow onto the plant and make a wish, the seeds disperse in the garden of your happiness and coat it with a promise of joy - or that is what they make you believe.

In reality, weeds are the unwanted plants in your garden, they steal nutrients vandalising your happiness and dreams.

The energy and love that should be spent on your future gets leeched off by these filthy weeds.

Unfortunately, the realisation only hits when your garden is totally infiltrated by the dandelion seeds, which already have a stronghold on your life.

The question arises that how can a beacon of hope compare to something so unwanted and horrid ?

perhaps you may think that if given enough time, everything that once entranced you will drastically turn unpleasant.

However, what makes you think that what you presumed "entrancing" was actually, in fact entrancing and not just a persona that the dandelion wore to make you fall in its ploy ?

the problem is that when one wears rose coloured glasses, all the red flags go unnoticed. So, "beware of what you let enter your heart. There will come a day when you'd give anything to remove it."
