And sing a song of melancholy, in the tongue of impossibilities.

Instrumental Impossibilities

It's impossible to love when you've never been taught to. It's like hitting the keys on a pianoforte, without really having a tune.

But y'know, I hate even though I haven't been taught to. I strum a ghost note of hate on my guitar. A melody that keeps people far.

It's almost impossible to smile when you've never had a reason to. It's like striking the strings to a violin without really having a tune.

But y'know, I feel pain even though I haven't been taught to. It's like beating a pattern on my drum, no feelings. Oh so numb.

And with my instruments I soar

on the winds of impossibilities.
