Deaf Doll

They spoke of love as if I were deafened

Am I not here?

Can I not hear?

With my earless ears

So, I never spoke again

Leaving their voice recorded reminders to play for all the barbies with no heads

For it is not I

Not I

With the decapitated head

I wear mine, just fine

Unlike the black heart you tried to red.
