Searching for that special something....

Vision of Hope

Vision of Hope By: Mike Mezz

Lying here awake again Minutes before dawn I hear your breathing Your heart beat like a song

Lately I've been feeling A little misunderstood Feeling things for the first time Like I never could

I've had my head down Banging against the door Trying to get to something I could never find before

That special something That would feed my soul It's a vision to live by A feeling of hope

Something drives us onward Something gives us strength Why does our judgment falter? Is it the questions we think?

Who am I to fly so high? What gives me the right To dream of what could be Keep reaching for the light?

I've been standing In front of that door Basing my happiness On those' I knew before

Searching for something That will move my soul A vision to hold on to A clear sign of hope

Have you been feeling down? Anything like this before? I promise there's something If you just open up that door

A vision to live by One that moves your soul A vision that holds you Something to cling to

It's just inside that door.....

A sight that rings true A vision to show you How to fill your soul A clear vision of hope

I'm lying here awake again...
