I need something that's real to me....

Something I Can Believe

Something I Can Believe By: Mike Mezz

We were standing on the hilltop Where the old Maple trees grow

We were standing on the hilltop Where the old Maple trees grow I wished the world would stop When you said ' Its time for me to go.'

But the world just kept on spinning You left me standing in the cold

But the world just kept on spinning You left me standing in the cold A kiss good-bye was given Then you drove off in the snow

I need Some fresh air to breathe

Something that I can believe

I need Something that I can see

Something that is real to me

I was standing by the Ohio River Where the dirty water flows

I was standing by the Ohio River Where the dirty water flows Waiting for you to return You never came so I went home

And the world just kept on spinning As I stood there all alone

And the world just kept on spinning As I stood there all alone No hello kiss was ever given And the cold air chilled me to the bone

I need Some fresh air to breathe

Something that I can believe

I need To take some time to think

Something that is real to me
