Remembrance By: Mike Mezz
Here I sit all by myself With nobody to call my own Am I lonely? I don't know But I am here all alone
As I think about the past No regrets enter my mind All the questions still linger Can I put the past behind?
Once I knew who I was Someday I will know again All I feel is confusion For who I am I can't forget
Remembrance
Remembrance To learn from the past
Deliverance
Deliverance Throw away this mask
Perception was I would fall down I believed all that doubt You must stumble to hit the ground But new roots will sprout
Now I realize I'm on my own A humble dwelling I call home Am I lonely? I really don't know But here I am sitting all alone
Once I knew who I was Someday I will know again All I feel is confusion For who I am I can't forget
Destruction
Destruction Tear down these walls
Remembrance
Remembrance Just weakens my cause
Construction
Construction Reassemble my life
Remembrance
Remembrance To avoid the strife
