A few steps and I was on my way....

My Zone

My Zone By: Mike Mezz

I stepped outside On this wonderful day I left my comfort zone inside A few steps and I was on my way

I longed so much to do things That I've never done before Trying to let my mind roam free Instead of pacing the same old floor

The sunlight brilliantly shone Even though I'm all alone But deep inside I longed For something of my own

I can't let life flash on by While waiting on a ghost If I had wings I would fly If I had fins I would float

I just wandered the city street The world didn't stop spinning There's nothing particular that I seek But a new friend found me

So if you are in your little zone Afraid to stroll from your home Remember you can't find anything Unless you venture out on your own
