I'm Invisible

I'm Invisible By: Mike Mezz

I can see the sunlight outside Yet I don't walk out the door I do have a nice little ride But I hardly drive it anymore

The only reason I have to leave Is to pick up a few necessities Looking through the window I can see skeletons of trees

I'm locked inside these walls My only friends are digital My phone is silent with no calls I am completely invisible

Feeling warmth through the window Listening to cars passing by I just remain here all alone No matter how hard I've tried

I guess this is the price I pay For the years of running from pain I've been broken and hurt too much To make an effort to change

I'm locked inside these walls My only friends are digital My phone is quiet with no calls I continue to be invisible

The only thing change brings Is always more hurt and pain Perhaps I'm just in misery I just try to stay out of the fray

Darkness creeps into the window No more cars are going by I still remain here all alone Another day that I barely tried

I'm locked inside these walls My only friends are digital My phone is quiet with no calls Living a life that's invisible
