There's no more "Home on the Range......."

Fly Away

Fly Away By: Mike Mezz

Take me to where the wildlife are free Get me away from this declining society Don't you like the wind on your face? Watching animals run in wide open space

In the city buildings continue to go up Expanding the horizon where animals should be They have nowhere to run except the streets Their homes disappearing under their feet

Paradise is fading away Unless you like concrete All over our planet today Forests becoming obsolete

Let's just fly away

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play Until the plows move in

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play Until the plows move in And they will someday

Let's just fly away

Subdivisions where forests use to be There's no more "Home on the Range" Cutting down hundred year old trees Need more paper in this information age

Where are the animals supposed to go? When you continue to destroy their homes Litter and pollution endanger their lives Chemical spills make it a struggle to survive

We're losing paradise today Concrete jungles under our feet Lights and noise pollution invade Millions of species are going extinct

Let's just fly away

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play Until the plows move in

Let's just fly away Find a new place to play Until the plows move in And they will someday

Let's just fly away
