My heart is encased in ice
But here you are in front of me......

Damaged By: Mike Mezz

Can't you see I'm damaged? I don't think I can love again My heart has been ravaged These walls are built within

All my pieces are scattered No directions for reassembly My heart has been battered Nobody allowed to gain entry

Many have tried to no avail All this damage is too severe I'm a boat that's missing a sail I'm a truck that you can't steer

My puzzle is missing pieces My heart is encased in ice But here you are in front of me While I give you this advice

I can't give you a guarantee I won't promise you the moon For I must give you this decree My heart may not be attune

These walls you can't ascend The bricks are made of steel There's no reason to pretend Too much damage to conceal

Do you think you have the fire That can set my heart aflame? Do you have what's required To find the pieces that remain?
