Poetry from a sad hearted individual

That August Morning

That August morning

The one where the gray light of dawn

Cast itself over your yard

Apprehensive stillness living within me

The morning where the wind changed,

Wind doesn't change that suddenly.

So suddenly

Routines.

The Ultimatum that I have so willingly accepted

That morning makes me wary of the decisions I have made that have led me to look at this endless gray sky

This August morning

The one where we first met

Constantly reliving it

Constantly
