Lazy days as a parent.

Lazy Day

Today is a lazy day. But, its not really lazy at all.

I find myself working on my day off. Wait, what's a day off?

I work 24/7, 365 days a year now. What's a vacation?

Small digits...grasping...pulling. Today is not a lazy day at all.

I'm exhausted, but I can not sleep yet. Wait, what's sleep?

Small objects cover the floor.

Eating every three hours.

Is it nap time yet? The clock ticks by so slowly.

Screaming, laughing, crying, smiling. Tiny emotions rule my day.

Today is not a lazy day at all. Wait, what's a lazy day?

Thank so much for reading!! I'm not the best at poetry, but figured it was worth a shot. Let me know what you think in the comments!!
