A mind that never was

by michaelschulze

My body has died three times and yet i continue to let my sole live on .

And for now it carries my mortal remains through this life.

Condemned to feel the pain of others while bleeding from every orifice as if there was still life left in it's remains.

Consuming the pain of others as a vulture picks through road kill.

Until all that is left is a void where once the mind body and soul belonged to the one person

Never to be ree united for the body and soul have long forgotten that the mind evere existed.

I've missed you. I am glad you are back putting your wisdom to work. The general quality of your verses has taken a definite uptick since you last post. The theme here is one that I think haunts all of us from time to time. Great poem!!!!!
