The Sky had polished all the stars to shine brighter than all the lights in the world tonight. Tonight, humans will look up at the Sky.
It disrobed the Moon as it flaunted her beguiling curves at the dazed and wandering men.
The night stretched till dawn, as the howls and drunken crooning faded into the light.
The Moon clothed herself once more, covering herself in sunlight till she was pale and unrecognized.
The stars grew dull and dim, no longer the object of attention.
And the sober men barely glanced at the airy, unadorned Sky who wrapped herself around the earth, trying to grasp onto the fleeting humans.
