Narrative Poem! Appreciate if you read! Posting for a project! :)

One motion was all it took One movement and Rose was freed Leaving her place of work Following the faint light of the street lights

Roses heels clicking with each step Footsteps shuffled between hers Alarms ringing in her head Fear crippling her movements

Feet cutting the air Making a subtle wind Clicking heard frequently Frantically looking for an escape

Cold callous hands grip onto Rose Body whipped towards her attacker Eyes recognize the features Limbs relax, fear dissipates

Recognition sinks in Memories fill her with warmth Her fathers eyes glisten Verging to tears

“I’m sorry Rose” “It must me done” The silver in his hand gleaming Heart hammers, body tenses

One motion was all it took One movement, Rose was freed Her soul leaving its place of residence Following the faint light of the street lights to its new host
