A description of the bluest eyes I've ever seen

The bluest eyes

by meganlh

His eyes were a startling blue

Yet nothing else about him was particularly startling. Bland clothing and tanned skin with a simple face

But that simple face held the most wonderful eyes

Blue eyes that glistened as they watched the world

They wanted to be compared to the sea

But they werent a deep enough shade

They asked to be compared to the sky

But their colour was too solid and bold

They begged to be compared to the flowers

But none held a colur as rich or bold as those shining blue eyes. Everything was faded in comparison to those wonderous blue eyes

They seemed to glitter in the sunlight

Those blue eyes swirling against tanned skin like the clouds of a waterfall against the dull cliff face

These were incredibly melodic verses. I was impressed by your imagery in each stanza. This was not only technically sound, it was a thing of purity and beauty.
